Main Entrance
You get a key from the frontdoor and a key from the door in the hall that leads to the frontroom of the house. The main entrance is the only area in the house you will have to share with me, your host.
Frontroom
This room has a dining table with four chairs. If you want, you can pull up some extra chairs from the kitchen. The windows in this room give you a nice view of the small yard and the park, which is just across the street.
Backroom
In this room you will find three comfortable chairs and a sofa(bed). On the wooden floor there is comfortable, warm rug. The TV, video player and cd player are available for your use. From the back room you have a view of the patio.
Small hallway
Between the back room and the kitchen is a small hallway. This hallway takes you to the other side of the house. The ‘Back house’ as we say in Dutch. In this hallway you will find the staircase that leads to the bedrooms. Also you will find all kind of useful things. Like a washing machine, a hair dryer, an iron, an ironing board and a vacuum cleaner. Toilet no.1. and the patio are accessible from this hallway.
Kitchen
The hallway leads to the big living/kitchen. Here you find a cooker with 6 gasburners and an electric stove. The counter is made of reclaimed wood (from the top of the house) and gives you a lot of place to prepare your food. The antique french kitchensink and the colorfull tiles on the wall are a completion to the warm atmosphere. There is a big fridge and a washingmachine.
The table has 6 chairs. The window gives out to the patio. There is a door that leads to the patio.
Patio
The paved sunny patio (End of March till October) is ±3,5 x 10 square metre. In one corner, near the living, there is a border with a lot of evergreen plants. Also there is a tiny ‘pond’ with one goldfish. The patio has a table with 8 chairs and a garden umbrella (which you definitely need in summer). This makes it a tempting place for you to make yourself comfortable. Behind the patio is my private workshop. It is not accessible for guests. I have my ceramic oven, my stock of glaze and earthenware and a whole lot of other tools. During your stay I will not work in my workshop.
Bathroom
Via the stairs in the little hallway you come to the second floor above the kitchen. The bathroom has a shower (120 x 90cm), a second toilet and a washstand with a lot of space to put your stuff on. The window overlooks the patio and the gardens of the neighbors.
Bedroom 1.
The first bedroom is quite small, but very cosy. The bed is 160 x 200 cm. There is a wardrobe and a chair. On your request I can place an additional children’s cot in this room. The window overlooks the patio and the gardens of the neighbors.
Bedroom 2.
The second bedroom has a bunk bed and two single beds. You can put the two single beds together to create one double bed (180 x 200 cm). The window in this room also overlooks the patio and the gardens of the neighbors. There is a door which leads to the third bedroom.
Bedroom 3.
In this bedroom there are two double beds: one normal bed of 1.60 wide and one smaller bed of 1.40 wide. There is a lot of space and light in this room. It used to be my studio. The second bed is not in the picture, it is where the photographer is standing. 😉
